SISTER'S BURIAL
A short film developed by the Its My Shout Organisation in collaboration with the BBC Wales. The short film explores themes of hatred and entitlement

Fitting extras and providing them with costumes according to their measurements and role in the short.

Welcoming and assisting cast during fittings and on-set.

Being aware of time restraints within the preproduction team which affects the overall pace of the film e.g working around the hair and makeup team schedule.

Standing by on-set to survey the costume continuity. ​

Attending regular Production Meetings with the Director.

Developing an Initial Design Presentation and presenting to the production team (including Producers, Directors, Cinematographer...).

Organising fittings with the cast/Director.

Developing designs to realise the Directors vision.

Presenting designs confidently alongside references and drawings.​

Discussing with the actors their characters and hearing their costume ideas.

​Preparing an array of costume options for extras and actors who had not been available for fittings.

Developing a sequence of costumes that convey the passing of several months.

Facilitating costume change at pace to allow makeup sufficient time for applying prosthetics.

Thinking proactively and preparing lens-less glasses frames.

Having a thorough understanding of the storyline and how the costumes change in each scene when filming in non-chronological order.

Communicating with other staff such as the assistant directors, producers, production designer, sound team and hair and makeup.
