Working as a costume assistant on 'Flora, The Red Menace' ensured working to a fast pace whittling down a large checklist on the daily for 3 weeks. In the time leading up to the performances, I was able to enhance my skills in the costume department by completing a wide variety of tasks. Here is a list of some of my key roles;

Attending read throughs, rehearsals, Production Meetings and reflecting on daily call sheets

Working closely with the set designer to bring their vision to life.

Developing work according to AutoCAD files and 1:25 Scale Models

Compiling costing sheets and researching best materials for each purpose

Presenting varied samples to the designer for the go-ahead

Working as a team to complete large scale painting tasks

Delegating tasks in order to complete the design to a strict deadline

Working Get-Ins and Get-Outs, scenic calls and providing touch-ups throughout the shows

Safely working wearing the correct PPE in a safe working environment

Approaching projects with a sustainable mindset from start-to-finish

Skilled with a variety of of mediums such as:
- Paint: dry brushing, spray painting, large scale painting, touch-ups, breaking down materials, UV paint
- Texturing: Idenden, glosses, sanding, filler, vinyl, laser cutting, stenciling,
- Tools: jigsaw, laser cutter, plotter, heat gun, staple gun, chalk string, drill, evo stick
