ABOUT ME
Hello, hello!
My name is Mayzey, I'm a Glasgow Based Costume and Set Designer. I'm also a bit more than that... a scenic artist, model maker storyboard artist, costume maker and a bit of everything!
My work is inspired by streets of ordinary people, just like you and me. Who says we can’t be extraordinary?
I create representative work of the world and enable platforms like theatres to share stories using an inclusive, celebrative and engaging approach. I visualise this through my production design work, with a focus on moodboard-ing, storyboarding, digital and close discussions with directors to create similar but different worlds to our own.
I have designed for a variety of productions for stage and screen and worked with fabulous Directors - Hannah Noone, Simon Reade and Amelia Lloyd to name a few!
