THE LIST

A short film developed at the BFI Film Academy, collaborating young filmmakers across the South West. The short film explores themes of loneliness, restriction and obligation.

  • Attend regular Production Meetings - discussing the process we will be taking to acquire a considered and cohesive design aesthetic for a film developed during Lockdown restrictions.​

  • Work with the cast to develop costumes and set designs according to their own personal wardrobe and house decor. From this building on the connotations of regular homely items and garments in a Lockdown Film

  • Working with the director and cast to re-visit activities and locations in the original screenplay due to regulation restrictions. From these challenges, we worked creatively to develop cohesive solutions which aligned with the themes of the short film - obligation, boredom, community, loneliness, anxiety, self help and restriction.

  • It felt important to the team to document this unprecedented event from the viewpoints of young British teenagers living through it.
